Leadership

Lucas Miah
Co-Founder
After graduating with a degree in Economics, he joined an AI scale-up during a venture funding round, gaining early exposure to the pace and pressure of building a high-growth company. Working at the intersection of technology and business, he developed a strong foundation in scaling operations and driving commercial growth.
Over the past three years, he has worked with private equity clients to implement advanced technology solutions, well before the recent wave of AI adoption. This experience has shaped a practical, results-driven approach to using emerging tech to solve real business problems.
At Agriware, he advises sales and client services, focused on building strong partnerships and delivering measurable impact. With a blend of commercial instinct and technical understanding, he is helping drive the company’s growth and position it for its next stage.

Daniel Derry
Founder
Dan’s journey in the agricultural sector started when he joined George Browns Ltd (LB) as a Service Manager. In this role, he not only managed his own branch but also Witney, which experienced temporary staff shortages.
During this mission-critical role, Dan discovered the real costs of poor and outdated software products. He later took on the role of foreman at BAM, which came to an end after he was made redundant due to the closure of the business and the sale of manufacturing rights to the LWC.
The combination of practical experience maintaining agricultural machinery as well as workshop management experience brings both operational depth and entrepreneurial energy to the business. Dan is now channelling his industry knowledge into building a modern, customer-focused agricultural software company from the ground up.

Alex Hilmi
Account Executive
After graduating with a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Money, Banking, and Central Banking, Alex started his career in London’s financial sector before returning to his rural roots.
He joined NFU Mutual, specialising in farming insurance, where he gained valuable insight into the risks and operational challenges faced by modern farms. He focused on turning complex insurance solutions into practical support for the farming community.
At Agriware, Alex serves as Account Executive, leading sales and strategic investment efforts. With his sharp financial acumen and genuine industry knowledge, he helps drive growth while keeping the company closely connected to the real needs of farmers.
BREAK THE LOCK-OUT
For too long, Modern Agriculture and Construction have been stifled by Manufacturer Gatekeeping. You buy a green tractor, a yellow tele-handler, and a red combine, but the big brands lock your data into their proprietary clouds. They treat your data as their asset.
OWN THE DATA
Agriware is the “Switzerland” of Heavy Industry. We are platform-agnostic. We don’t care what colour the paint is; we process data from any source to give you total operational visibility. We are building the operating system that breaks the grip of proprietary systems and puts control back in the hands of the operator.
